Former deputy of the Democratic Party, Gert Bogdani, has expressed his ambition to run for the Municipality of Tirana in the upcoming local elections held next year.
He has stated that he would accept the DP's proposal, as he further added that he sees the candidacy as a difficult challenge, but not impossible.
"If the PD leadership would appreciate such a thing and the base would support it, I will definitely not say no to a challenge, no matter how difficult they have been. It would be a difficult challenge, considering the current situation, but it is not impossible. Tirana still has the opportunity to become a livable city for its residents. It is not a bad thing to build palaces, but the idea is to do it with a concrete plan. They built the boulevard here 80 years ago with 10 lanes, while today the narrow streets are made because they want to build buildings" , said Bogdani on RTV Ora.
We recall that a few days ago, Fatbardh Kadilli also confirmed that after consulting with his friends, he has decided to run for the Municipality of Tirana and that he will talk to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha about this.
