Rama is convinced: Either we make Albania Europe, or Europe never takes Albania

Prime Minister Edi Rama has praised the role of the Socialist Party in strengthening Albania's image in the international arena, stating that this political force has made it possible for Albanians to feel proud everywhere in the world.

In his speech, Rama stated that respect in international relations is a matter of reciprocity and that Albania, regardless of its size or economic power, seeks to be treated with dignity by international partners.

"PS, whether those who don't like it or not, is the party that can be proud of today for the simple fact that it has raised the heads of Albanians all over the world. Because for us, respect is a matter of reciprocity. We may be a small country and we are a small country, we may not be and we are not yet a rich country.

"But no matter how big and how rich those with whom we share a common space in international relations are, we view them with respect and expect only respect from them," Rama declared.

The head of government also linked the country's European future to the Socialist Party, emphasizing that integration into the European Union cannot be achieved without this political force at the helm.

"Either the SP makes Albania Europe, or Europe never takes Albania," Rama said.
