During the "East Side Stories" podcast, Prime Minister Edi Rama also commented on the project of the US President's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, on the island of Sazan in Albania.

Rama said that their friendship is not a political issue, and that it will "survive" even beyond Donald Trump's term as president.

"I don't know exactly how it happened, but it happened. They came, they visited, they love this country, they came back and then they started thinking about how to do something. I think this is an investment and this is a friendship that lasts a long time, so it will survive even after Trump, so it is not a political friendship at all. That was what I said then, and that is what I am saying now," Rama said.
