Discussions on the draft law for the port of Durrës have fueled fierce debates between the majority and the opposition in the Economy Committee. The head of the commission, Eduard Shalsi, has called on the members of the Commission, mainly those of the opposition, but also those of the SP, not to get involved in personal debates.
At one point, he clashed with the democratic MP Agron Shehaj, to whom he told him that he is not allowed to debate and engage in personal insults, because he is also a businessman.
" There are reasonable voices in the opposition, but there are also unreasonable voices. Uneducated, unskilled. I mean a businessman with this language. I addressed you with respect. I will recommend the book, 'The banality of evil'. I understand about some politicians who speak this language, but even you who are a businessman should speak this language ", Shalsi said.
