Sotiraq Filo's relations with Edi Rama are not at the level of his re-candidacy for mayor in Korça.

Neither the first nor the second have publicly stated this. Edi Rama has publicly declared the mayors who will be proposed for another mandate in the municipalities they lead, and among the names he has mentioned is not that of Sotiraq Filo.

The last signal that the mayor of Korça will be placed on the list where Dritan Leli of Vlora is currently located is a post by the District Prefect, Nertil Jole.

"The representatives of the Municipality of Korça were again absent from the meeting. I judge that the lack of contribution of the Municipality of Korça, as a very important public institution and the largest municipality in the region in the discussion and coordination of the problems that were dealt with, contradicts the spirit of cooperation, which is so necessary in preventing or coping with situations in the field of civil defense", writes Jole.

The prefect had called a meeting with the local government on the topic of civil defense and coordinated the measures to deal with the situations that may arise in the southeast region from cold weather and snowfall.

His attack on the Municipality of Korça is not just personal, but as an emissary of the government, that is, of Edi Rama, it is a signal that Sotiraq Filo will not run again for this post.

There have been rumors in the corridors of socialists about a frozen relationship between Rama and Filo. The reasons for the cooling of these reports are not known. A few years ago, Filo was taken as the mayor's model by Edi Rama.
