The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a press conference, attacked the leader of SPAK, Altin Dumani, after his report to the Parliament.
According to Berisha, "Dumani refused to take questions from deputies, an unprecedented act that shows arrogance and fear."
He added that "Dumani spoke as if he were being held captive, because he couldn't stand the questions, they seemed like arrows to him."
Berisha accused Dumani of "failing to investigate the government's corrupt affairs", stating that "SPAK deals with non-existent issues, while Rama and his associates have stolen endlessly."
Accusing Dumani of "amnestying electoral crime", Berisha said that "the head of SPAK quoted Edi Rama and justified the patronageists."
Berisha accused Dumani of receiving 5 million euros so that he would not extradite Kreshnik Farruku.
Further, Berisha raised another question. "Who is investigating Altin Dumani? Nobody! He has become a private lawyer for Edi Rama's affairs."
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, at the end of his conference, expressed his support for the creation of a bicameral parliament.
"I agree that the parliament should be made up of two chambers, the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Senate is useful, many countries have it," Berisha said.
He added that the DP wants the country to have more municipalities and a territorial reform with the best European experts, while emphasizing that "if the parliament needs to have a Senate, we will sit at the table with the majority."
