The Parliament has approved with 74 votes in favor and 6 against the establishment of the Special Anticorruption Commission, the draft decision for which was included in the agenda of today's plenary session.

The opposition has declared that it will not become a facade of Prime Minister Rama's propaganda, with the argument that this commission entered the session without first consulting the opposition.

Democrats demand that the prime minister start the fight against corruption from electoral corruption.

According to the draft decision, the Special Anticorruption Commission will consist of 11 members, where 6 belong to the majority and 5 to the opposition.

It will have a 10-month term and its chairman is expected to be Fatmir Xhafaj, while the members will be the chairmen and vice-chairmen of the 4 permanent parliamentary commissions and those of the European Integration Council.
