Arben Malaj, former MP and former minister of the Socialist Party, has reacted to a note by former MP Myslim Murrizi, where the latter accused politics of stealing Ballshi's oil, while also demanding investigations into "Bankers".

Murrizi also named several politicians who have benefited from millions of euros, including former Democratic Minister Eduard Halimi.

Murrizi says that the DP is caught up in this affair, which is why it is not speaking out.

"For 21 years, the dogs, hounds, hounds, and political scoundrels that you Albanians vote for every 4 years have collectively stolen hundreds of millions of euros of your wealth, and you buy oil and gasoline more expensive than all other countries in the European region."

Only 3 law firms have received 13.4 million euros as "fish" for 5-6 years since 2019 when the DP sold, not burned, its mandates.

Alket Hyseni, former SP MP and former director of money laundering in the years 2016-2017 in the Rama government, received 6 million euros from 2018-2025.

The studio of Eduart Halimi, former minister and former DP MP, received 2.7 million euros from February 2019 to June 2025 with 2 employees employed and 720 thousand euros received 4 days after the DP lost its mandates, namely on February 23.

"The law firm of Besnik Çerekja and his wife, who are used by both the SP and the DP as legal brokers for dirty deals, received 4.4 million euros from 2020 to June 2025 ," Murrizi wrote, among other things.

While Arben Malaj, asking his colleague to stay away from vulgar language and use more arguments, says that in 2005, when Sali Berisha's first government took power, it itself blocked an in-depth investigation into oil refineries.

"I can't understand why so heroic Myslymi. Why so humiliating to everyone else, the media "hero" former colleague Myslymi? We have spoken, comrade Myslymi. We have spoken in parliament, we have spoken in the media, we have appealed that SPAK should investigate the accelerated bankruptcy of the Deep Oil Refining Union as a priority.

"Why didn't you resign, Myslym, when after 2005 the police authorities blocked an in-depth investigation into the oil refineries and your Minister of Finance certified the police's position and did not protect the tax authorities??? Why didn't you protest that day? Why didn't you make an open appeal to the Minister of Finance and your Prime Minister and your party, that it was a state capture?" writes the former socialist minister.

"You were there as a Murriz MP, you had every right and legal opportunity not only to speak, but also to investigate every theft and expose the political "blacks" who got their hands deep into the UPTHN's black money in Ballsh.

I have nothing personal, nor am I doing this to protect anyone, because, fortunately, thieves and greedy people will be exposed more and more every day.

"I am proud that even after 20 years and after the endless slanders of the DP - to which you never reacted because your party based its political war only on slanders against political opponents. The smart Albanian people say that whoever does not eat garlic does not have bad breath ," Malaj replied.

Following Malaj's reaction, former MP Murrizi has reacted again. Attacking Malaj for having taken the "rank" of pyramid schemes, Murrizi reminds the former socialist minister that he was not an MP in 2025.

" I was not an MP in 2005, Ben Malaj (Cenaj), because if I had been, I would have spoken about you as a former minister who sold all the properties of pyramid companies with Farudin Arapin for lek ," says Murrizi, among other things, in his reply.
