The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being the person who demanded the imprisonment of Fredi Beleri.

From the summer camp in Jale, where he is staying after returning from his family vacation in Greece, Meta accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of ordering Fredi Beleri's imprisonment.

"Beleri, a political prisoner of Edi Rama. Everyone remembers Edi Rama's public threats against Beler. He was abducted by the state police only 48 hours before the citizens of Himara went to the polls," stated Meta.

He further said that this proves that the rule of law in Albania is in a dramatic state.

"This situation simply reflects the dramatic state of the rule of law in our country. It shows a violent majority that does not know the law", stated Meta.

We remind you that Beleri was arrested by SPAK on charges that he offered 50 euros for a vote. For handcuffing and keeping him in prison, there was sufficient evidence such as the money paid, witnesses, the list of names that would be bought for votes, photographs and environmental surveillance.
