The US Chargé d'Affaires at the American embassy in Tirana, David Wisner, held a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama today.

The American Embassy says that in this meeting issues such as the partnership between the two countries, the importance of supporting Albanian youth and Albania's hospitality to Afghan refugees were discussed.

Message from the US Embassy:

Chargé d'Affaires David Wisner met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama to reaffirm the strong bond between the United States and Albania.

They discussed the close partnership of our countries in the United Nations Security Council, especially for Ukraine, as well as the importance of supporting the Albanian youth. Wisner also thanked the prime minister for the extraordinary hospitality that Albania has shown to Afghans.
