As the new parliamentary session is expected to start this September, it seems that new developments are taking place within the opposition.
On Wednesday, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, held a meeting with the head of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka and the head of the Movement for National Development, Dashamir Shehi.
In the meeting held in a public environment, the deputy of DP, Kreshnik Çollaku, one of the strongest supporters of Basha's group, who has publicly criticized the political actions of Sali Berisha, was also present.
Although it remains unclear what they discussed in this meeting, it seems that Basha is trying to bring together former allies, such as Shehi and Duka, who have maintained a neutral position regarding the conflict in DP.
