The former deputy of the DP Luciano Boçi will be the only candidate of the opposition in front of the candidate of the majority, Gledian Llatja for the Municipality of Elbasan in the elections of May 14.

Not only that the official Democratic Party did not produce another candidate, but came out in support of him, but also with other parties, he has formed a cooperation agreement today where they will support him. In a post on social networks, Boçi writes that this broad consensus will lead the opposition to a sure victory in the May 14 local elections.

"Today we signed the Cooperation Agreement with the political forces to maximize the result on May 14

Proud and confident that the agreement with a wide spectrum of opposition parties reflects all the need and expectation of the citizens for change! I am glad that once again Elbasan showed that it is a city of cities, as I call it. We always reflect a human harmony between us and today we are also showing a political harmony, which reflects the union of citizens. This is not a battle for Luciano Boçi, but it is a battle for the citizens," writes Boçi.

Part of the agreement signed today, the forces that supported Luciano Boçi's candidacy are: the Democratic Party of Albania, the Freedom Party, the Christian Democratic Party, the National Development Movement, the Legality Movement, the Republican Party, the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, the Party for Europeanization and Integration, the Alliance Liberal and Right, National Front.
