The remote exchanges between Lulzim Basha and Prime Minister Edi Rama continue. 

Basha responded to Rama, who during a meeting yesterday with a citizen at a factory producing olive oil in Memaliaj, the latter told him that Basha had not given him the compensation he was entitled to and had behaved badly.

The head of the Euro-Atlantic coalition, through a video message, accused Rama of leaving this institution in debt when he left the post of mayor of Tirana.

"Oh Rame, you have started recruiting false witnesses. You had caught one in Memaliaj who said that I did not give him the money that you owed him. Why didn't you pay him with Rame? You only left me debts in the municipality with Rame, and the pit of Hajdin Sejdi, the largest public toilet in the world. 200 meters from your office. 11 years in the municipality and you did not fill it. What happened yesterday?

During the meeting in Memaliaj, the citizen told Rama that Basha had treated him very badly regarding compensation he was entitled to, telling him that he would only receive it when Rama returned to the municipality.

"He wouldn't give me the money. He behaved badly with me, he didn't want to give it to me. He told me that when Edi Rama comes back to the Municipality of Tirana, you will get that money.
He called me a communist and behaved badly. I felt sorry for the girl, because she had just started teaching and I didn't want to ruin her work, but I would have slapped her in the face," the citizen said, adding that only after 5 years had he received the money that was due to him.

Rama, ironically mocking Basha, said:

"Oh Lul, what have you done, have you done this too? Have you done any of these? Not that we need those pages of yours! You're a dog and a mouse! Lul, the past is forgotten. Where did you take the money, Lul?!"
