In the CEC on Thursday, the Regulatory Commission decided that in the local elections of May 14, the process of voting and electronic voter counting will be carried out through electronic voting and voter counting devices in three municipalities: Kamëz, Vorë and Elbasan.

Also, the Regulatory Commission approved the procedural rules for the electronic voting and counting process through the relevant electronic devices.

The decision determines the procedure for the delivery of voting and counting equipment to the commissions of the voting centers where electronic voting and counting will be piloted, delivery by the CEC together with the accompanying boxes that enable electronic voting, minutes and work documentation . The opening of the voting process through electronic devices will be carried out by technical personnel, assigned by the CEC.

In cases where the transmission, for technical reasons related to the equipment or the modem, does not occur, the process of extracting the results will be carried out manually. The preliminary result is extracted and published, after it has been sent to the CEC, it was decided by the Regulatory Commission.
