The Socialist Party has again rejected the request of the PD parliamentary group led by Enkelejd Alibeaj for the establishment of a Commission of Inquiry for Strategic Investments. The request was rejected today at the Conference of Presidents by a majority vote.

This was the second time that the DP requested the establishment of the Commission of Inquiry for Strategic Investments, as it was signed by 35 Democrat MPs, including Lulzim Basha.

Alibeaj called this decision scandalous and stated that the DP will follow all the paths to the end. 

"We will reveal all the real reasons for the drop in demand today," said Alibeaj, who said that the entire implementation of the law on Strategic Investments is a corrupt scheme.
