The head of the PD group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted to the request of SPAK, which has sent to the Assembly permission to arrest Ahmetaj.

Bardhi calls on the Speaker of the Parliament, Nikola, to convene the Council of Mandates today, while saying that SPAK should extend the investigations to the head of the corruption affair, Edi Rama.

"The request to bring Arben Ahmetaj to justice for the corrupt affair of the incinerators is a fair action, but delayed and incomplete. SPAK must go to the end of this affair, conducting a full and comprehensive investigation up to the head of the corruption affair, Edi Rama. Together, they have committed some of the most monstrous acts of government corruption in the last 3 decades. I ask the Speaker of the Assembly to convene the Council of Mandates without delay today. "SPAK should be immediately given access to check the personal and apartment of the former deputy prime minister", writes Bardhi.
