Prime Minister Edi Rama decided to dismiss the Minister of the Interior Bledi Çuci after a series of failures related to order.

The Borizana event capped a series of serious events. Bledi Çuci became the head of the Ministry of Interior after the resignation of Sandër Lleshi. He remained for several years at the head of the order without any influence in improving the situation of the order.

Several different incidents involving the police themselves are the ones that damaged the image and showed what was the result of the minister's work. We remember the incident in Himare when a minor girl was killed by a police officer in a speedboat.

Or even the gun attack on Top Channel, which the police still haven't been able to solve to this day.

But the video of the brutal beating in Borizana also showed another aspect. Minister Çuçi has allowed that in various areas such as Kruja, the control over the police is not of this state, but the tribes of the strong.

The police station of Fushë Kruja has cooperated openly with the Rraja tribe and has not taken into account any of the dozens of complaints from residents. In addition, the police leaders there gave information to the perpetrators about the persons who filed lawsuits.

Because of this, the event took place which led to the overthrow of the Minister of the Interior and the dissolution of the Kruja police station./ TCH
