Journalist Poli Hoxha was invited this Monday to a television studio, where he spoke about SPAK's request to the Assembly for the authorization to arrest former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.

Seeing the fact that the accusation of "Abuse of duty" has been dropped and that Ahmetaj is accused of "Corruption", "Money laundering" and "Concealment of assets", Hoxha emphasized that from the start we have a strong blow for Ahmetaj.

According to the journalist, the file is closed and the Socialist Party is aware of the accusations and will authorize the arrest of Ahmetaj in the Council of Mandates.

" This is the first time that we have had a strong blow from the start, since the accusations brought by SPAK, in the request addressed to the Assembly. In all other cases, he started with lighter charges and fell by the wayside. As happened with Mr. Lefter Koka, Dako, Alqi Blako and Saimir Tahir.

Since Mr. Ahmetaj is buried in the accusation, and I believe that the investigation against him was long, important and focused, we are definitely dealing with a complex investigation. In the hands of the parliamentary group and the prime minister, all the SPAK information was in bold, and therefore we will have an agreement to allow the arrest of Ahmetaj" , said Hoxha.
