The legal representatives of "Bashke Fitomje" filed today with the KAS several claims related to the voting and counting process for Belsh.
According to them, about 60 ballots were considered valid, while the notes were different from those allowed by the CEC. They say that some were marked with question marks, and others were scribbled, while after they were declared valid, they were passed as SP votes.
They have also filed a video where, according to them, they show that there are two more ballots in the box than what is written in the box. Another problem they have identified is the addition of two ballots, two more than were marked in the box.
After the meeting, it was decided that the next day the recount of the ballot boxes for the mayor of Belsh will be carried out. The decision was taken after the request of two KAS members Lediu Braho and Elvis Çefa.
Meanwhile, from the side of the SP's legal representative, BF's complaints about the notes on the ballots are unfounded, because according to them, even though they were not marked according to the CEC regulation, they cannot be called invalid.
" Invalidities were found only in that voting center. From the sheets found by DP, in our estimation they are not like that at all. Limiting this moment and forcing or invalidating the citizen's will because he did not do it with an X or a + according to the reference from the CEC, we consider totally inappropriate. This is the moment when the citizen conveys the power to the mayor. That these indicate pressure are claims that do not correspond to the research. In our assessment, the evidence must be accepted and we leave it to KAS to decide whether it will be opened or not" , said the SP representative.
