Socialist MP Erion Braçe has raised the concern about high prices in the Assembly.
In his speech, Braçe said that the prices have decreased in the international markets, while in our country this reduction is not being reflected.
" Food prices in the world have fallen by 22.1%, while cereal prices in relation to April of this year have fallen by 4.8%, compared to a year ago they have fallen by 25.3%. The prices of vegetable oils fell during the month of May in relation to April by 8.7%, meanwhile with a year ago 48.2%.
Meat prices by 1% in April and by 5% compared to a year ago. the only ones that have increased are sugar prices.
I have a question for those who go shopping, have you verified that the price of oil and bread has dropped and the price of cereals has dropped.
More important than insulting and pointing the finger at everyone is to make the markets work, those who are on the other side need to be fed with quality, as long as the prices fall in the international markets, they will be reflected here as well", said Braçe .
