The clash between socialist Iris Luarasi and activists who followed her with cell phones in their hands, calling her a thief in a crowded environment, has taken on new dimensions.
Socialist MPs have reacted harshly to the attacks on their colleague, an event for which they have requested that appropriate measures be taken as soon as possible for the people involved.
After this, influencer Dea Mishel Hoxha reacted, supporting the two activists, emphasizing that the clash with Luaras was not a verbal spat.
"Iris Luarasi, you whore. This is an example of gender-based violence, or otherwise anti-feminism. Attacking a woman on morality, on principle, on dignity, on something very personal."
If you were offended in this way as a feminist, I would defend you too. The verbal attack that has happened to you, Iris, is of a completely different nature.
Those girls who call you a government tool and a thief are not anti-feminists. They are two protesters dissatisfied with the government you are a part of.
"It is shameful for a person to use the cause and distort it according to himself," said Dea Mishel Hoxha in a video message shared online this afternoon, a day after the incident between Luarasi and the activists.
Below her post made this afternoon, Dea Mishel writes that the video in question serves as a lesson on feminism.
"A little lesson about feminism and the safety of girls in Albania. Every girl should react to this kidnapping and violence that was carried out yesterday by the police! It's scary! Don't become a feminist just for clicks! React when necessary!" writes the influencer.
