"Iran hit us hard", Rama talks about cyber attacks in Davos: We

Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Davos where the Economic Forum is being held. During his speech, the prime minister also touched on cyber attacks.

Rama said that in 6-7 years, 95% of services have gone online.

He said that last year Albania was attacked very badly by Iran, but even though it does not have the latest technological systems, it managed it in the best way and managed to save the data.

" First of all, I want to tell you, never invite someone from the Balkans and set a time limit. We managed to become for the last 6-7 years the country that has 95% services entirely online. You no longer need to contact the office. This has helped a lot. But at the same time it has exposed us a lot.

Last year we were attacked very badly by Iran. Of course, we carefully investigated every step of the way with experts from the FBI and Microsoft. and we are still attacked, practically day after day.

However, even though we do not have state-of-the-art cyber security, we managed to avoid the complete destruction of the systems we had and practically avoided data loss, which was the aim of the attack.

We have resisted well compared to the aim of the aggressors. Based on the report, it was very clear that the authors had the ultimate goal of erasing the systems to return us to the stone age, " said Rama.
