Himara officially as mayor, CEC gives the mandate to Vangjel Tavos!

Vangjel Tavo officially received the mandate from the State Election Commission, which paved the way for his swearing in the Municipal Council of Himara.

The defeat of the opposition, which demanded a repeat of the elections at every level of appeal, gave the green light to the CEC to certify the winner of the August 4 battle.

"Decides on granting the mandate of the Mayor of Himarë, Vlorë District, Mr. Vangjel Tavo, proposed by the electoral entity "Socialist Party of Albania", for the partial elections for Mayor of Himarë on August 4, 2024", said Celibashi.

Against the decision of Commissioner Celibashi, an appeal can be made to the Appeals and Sanctions Commission within three days.
