"Silence is complicit with the powerful of the neighborhood", Balla: Every citizen's complaint deserves maximum attention!

The Minister of the Interior , Taulant Balla, declares that every complaint and every denunciation of every citizen has maximum attention and will receive a solution.

Through a post on social networks, Minister Balla underlines that the deaf ear and blind eye of a policeman and the non-reaction of the law enforcement forces to citizens' denunciations, are an alignment of the police against them and against the state.

Balla's post:

" Dear citizens, from all over Albania. You are not only the reason why the State Police exists, but you are also our irreplaceable partners in the protection of the country and of every individual, from any type of illegality, from corruption and organized crime, to ordinary crime and to crime against public property and private.

The deaf ear and the blind eye of a policeman, the complicit silence of the powerful in the neighborhood and the non-reaction of the law enforcement forces to the citizens' denunciations, are an alignment of the police against them, against the state. Therefore, every complaint of yours, every denunciation, is being followed very carefully, because for me each of them is a stone in the great wall of trust that must be rebuilt for the State Police".

Balla thanks all the citizens who have reported complaints about suspected illegal actions or that contradict the Code of Ethics in the State Police and emphasizes that all complaints have been resolved.

"I thank dozens of citizens who have reported many cases or submitted complaints for suspected illegal actions or that contradict the Code of Ethics in the State Police.

In a short time, on the basis of these reports/complaints, we have arrested police officers, as well as expelled for violating ethical norms ", writes Balla.
