Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha says that in the 200-page SPAK file that accuses him of passive corruption and abuse of office, there is no violation committed by him.
Berisha went even further, saying that the last violation that can be found in the file was committed by Edi Rama. He said that it was Rama who, as mayor at that time, changed the destination of the property.
But when he was confronted by the journalist Robert Rakipllari, that he was the one who had signed the change from sports land to residential land by decision of KKRT, Berisha denied it.
"There is a violation of the law, and this was done by Edi Rama, on October 6 he decided on the Tirana Regulation Council to change the destination. It is the mayor who makes the decision, I implemented the decision of the Constitutional Court. If the Mayor decides, my signature is formal. Find a signature of mine in the documents. What I have signed with the KKRT decision is the first plan for Tirana that Edi Rama did not do for 11 years", stated Berisha on the show "Opinion".
