The member of the presidency of the DP, Eno Bozdo, in a statement to the media, considered the investment of 180 million euros for the Llogara tunnel as an investment without economic logic.

He said that with such a sum of money roads could have been built which would be more profitable.

The statement of the member of the presidency of the DP, Eno Bozdo:

Whenever a decision is made to make or not a public investment, the essential criterion that the government must take into consideration is: how many Albanians benefit from this investment? Which regions of Albania benefit economically? Which markets are better connected and services offered more cheaply?

These were the questions when the Democratic Party government decided to build the Nation Road and the Kalimash Tunnel. Connecting Albania's markets with Kosovo was and is the most important economic, political and geostrategic objective for our national issue.

This was also the answer when the Democratic Party government decided to build the Qafë Krraba Tunnel or the Kardhiq-Delvina Tunnel. These tunnels connect large populations, help the economy and tourism, significantly shorten the roads and make Albania accessible and possible for everyone.

In this context, 180 million euros spent on the LLogara tunnel are an investment without any economic logic. It reduces time negligibly - only 20 minutes -, serves very few individuals, practically the 'minority of the minority'.

The Democratic Party in its governance has given primary importance to road infrastructure. For this reason, we are not and can never be against such investments, as long as they have an economic basis and serve the majority of the population, that is, not the whims of the minority.

• With 180 million euros spent, the new road Berat-Skrapar-Përmet -Ura e Kardhiqi could be built several times, to really help the economy, tourism and the lives of the residents of the 3 cities with civic and historical traditions of Albania. Today's road is impassable and this majority, even though it has promised this investment several times, has done nothing;

· With 180 million euros, the Berat-Këlcyre-Përmet road could be redone several times, built at the time of the Italian occupation, but today completely destroyed, which has also led to the massive abandonment of rural areas;

• With 180 million euros, Arbër Street, which can be considered Nation's Street no. 2, and that has been dragging on for 12 years.

• With 180 million euros, the Qukës-Qafë Pllocë Road could also be completed, an important part of Corridor No. 8, which has also been delayed for 10 years.

This money should at least go to these priorities, before being invested to serve the 'minority of the minority'.

And let's not forget: it is not Edi Rama's money, but our money, which should go where it is most needed and where the public benefit is greatest.

No one can cover this truth, not even the songs that are woven and sung about the 'global leader'. Not even the crocodile tears of the super minister.

Against this abuse and many others like this, on June 11, let's unite in Tirana, to protest the countless injustices, the thefts of the government that never gets enough, the crime and dirty money that are destroying education, order, health, the economy.
