NAMES/ Arben Ahmetaj should be arrested, here are the deputies who ABSENT

The Assembly paves the way for the arrest of Arben Ahmetaj, with 117 votes in favor, none against and 3 abstentions, voted in favor of SPAK's request.

Agron Duka, Vangjel Dule and Fatmir Mediu are the three MPs who abstained from voting for the arrest of Arben Ahmetaj.

SPAK declares that it has collected evidence showing that the former Minister of Finance committed corruption in six cases. The most corrupt and flagrant example is related to the traces left on the computer of Klodian Zoto, a wanted and accused person for the incinerators who allegedly paid for trips to several countries for him and his wife. The other five corruption cases are kept secret by SPAK as there are other people under investigation.

In the order letters of the internationals but also in the bank accounts, SPAK says that Arben Ahmetaj benefited 34 thousand euros from the trips.

This was the first clue that caused SPAK to separate Ahmetaj, at that time the number two of the government, from file 277, in other words, the incinerator of Elbasan, dividing it into a separate faction.

But Arben Ahmetaj is suspected by SPAK of suspicious actions for the three incinerators. The other charge is related to the concealment of wealth, and the investigation is based on the preventive seizure of two villas, one in Palasa and the other in Hamallaj.
