"Bislimi threw the bottle", Rama: Democracy cannot be counted on who
Prime Minister Edi Rama / Violence in the Assembly of Kosovo

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again to the episode of violence in the Assembly of Kosovo, apparently prompted by the many reactions he received from those who explained to him that it was Albin Kurti's minister who "shot the first with a bottle".

In another post on Twitter, Rama says that when parliamentary democracy boils down to who shot first, then there is a "problem with the meaning of democracy".

While sticking to what he said earlier, that Kosovo's opposition should distance itself from violence in the Assembly, Rama also writes that "Kosovo has fallen very low in the eyes of the democratic world."

"What happened today is shameful and I am convinced that justifying that ugliness does not help", writes Rama, "but damages Kosovo's reputation even more".

Rama's full reaction:

I was "choked" by my friends from Kosovo because I defended Albini, because Bislimi got the first bottle and it was VV who opened the chapter of violence in the Assembly of Kosovo when he was in the opposition! I don't care who threw the bottle first, maybe you're right, maybe not, but if parliamentary democracy boils down to who threw the first bottle, then we have a problem with the meaning of democracy, and with the meaning of this key moment for Kosovo. which does not owe anyone, I believe, today's scandalous show. And as someone who knows very well how low Kosovo has fallen in the eyes of the entire democratic world due to the wrong approach of the government, I still think that what happened today is shameful and I am convinced that justifying that ugliness does not help , is damaging Kosovo's reputation even more,
