In a conversation with the citizens of Gjirokastra, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appealed for the DP to do everything as a political force for change.
During his speech, the chief democrat Berisha said that "PD should have cut Edi Rama's ticket in time" as he added that the government he leads "is anti-social, anti-citizen, anti-national".
The head of the Democratic Party, Berisha, said that this government that is in power today managed to survive and get the 3rd mandate because, according to him, it did not receive the right answer from the Democratic Party, while adding that for this reason, the Democrats should to engage in as perfect a commitment as possible.
"The fact that we are in the 3rd term of a government that goes from scandal to scandal, in one way or another makes us responsible and puts every democrat in front of a great social and national responsibility. Therefore, the appeal, our deep dedication today is to do everything as a political force for change, to do everything to be true, real in every act and action.
Let's not forget one thing, look, the cloak that we have 9 years old does not speak in our favor because we should have cut the ticket to Edi Rama in time, a true anti-social, anti-citizen, anti-national government. But this government has managed to survive, to get the 3rd mandate because it has used all illegal methods, of course, but it has not received the answer it needs from us, so we must engage in a commitment as perfect as possible", said Berisha. .
Berisha again called for strong protests so that we do not have the collapse of the state.
"I invite you to engage in this battle, in powerful protests. They cannot hinder us in the local elections, where we will run as a united opposition with a candidate. We will do everything to come up with a candidate. We will make strong protests, otherwise we will have destruction, destruction and only destruction", he said.
