At the end of the protest, Sali Berisha requested that the protesters light a candle for the victims who, according to him, were killed by the hand of the state.

This caused the protesters to break the police cordon and throw paint towards the walls of the Prime Minister's Office. At the same time, another part of the citizens started to light candles.

Protest organizers intervened to calm the protesters down. However, one of them was escorted by the police, after kicking the door of the Prime Minister's Office.

However, the situation calmed down a few minutes later and the protesters moved to the steps of the government building, where they continued to light candles. The protest was closed at around 19:20.
