The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accuses the American ambassador in Albania of helping Edi Rama to get the PD logo. According to him, most of the MPs are with the DP, while some are government's "mash".

"They are a mass of their own. Here is the government, which at any cost, wants to steal the DP logo, that is Edi Rama, helped in the most absurd and unacceptable way by Ambassador Yuri Kim", declared Berisha during an interview with journalist Elona Meço in RTSH .

Berisha says that the other grouping in DP can compete as a faction.

"The statute has its own definitions. They are members of DP. In case they want to join this campaign, they have their undeniable place, in case they want to create a faction, they have their place. The statute is not Sali Berisha. The statute is the DP's constitution and Sali Berisha is obliged to implement every article of it", said Berisha.

According to him, the opposition has now become completely reliable and that all polls are in its favor. Berisha underlines that the opposition is no longer a pawn of the regime, but is a political force standing face to face, determined to defeat the regime.

"He (Rama) has started the tour of the state party. That is his last mug. Shameful, because it is collecting the salarymen, the schools and it is clearly competing as a state party. If we refer to polls, digital polls, there is a complete prevalence of the opposition over Rama. In other polls, his fall is cheap. And just like that, free, is the fall of his government" - said Berisha.

"There is no other party here. There is a government and there is the governor, Yuri Kim. Another grouping in DP? No, they are a mass of their own. Here is the government that, at any cost, wants to steal the DP logo, ie Edi Rama, helped in the most absurd and unacceptable way by the ambassador, Yuri Kim. They are members of DP, but those who continue to play that game, they become Edi Rama's cronies", said Berisha.
