Berisha letter to the British Ambassador: 'No grata' without facts.
Damir Fazllic and Sali Berisha

Sali Berisha has addressed an open letter to the British Embassy in Tirana and the head of this embassy, Sir Alastary King-Smith, where he asks for evidence and facts for the non grata proclamation.

In the letter, Berisha says he has not defended Damir Fazlic, but that the prosecution closed investigations after failing to find sufficient evidence.

Berisha accuses the Embassy of vulgar defamation.

"In the absence of facts, instead of the public apology in this reaction, vulgar smears of the letter are protected on behalf of the Home Secretary, in which I am accused of corruption, i.e. the use of power for my enrichment and my circle for which you have not brought and you will never be able to bring any evidence and fact alone for the simple reason that they do not exist". Berisha says.

Full letter:
Open letter to United Kingdom Ambassador to Tirana, Sir Alastary King-Smith.
Your transgression!
Yesterday, the United Kingdom Embassy in Tirana that you lead reacted to my statement about the proclamation non grata by the authorities of your country. In the absence of facts, instead of public apology, vulgar defamation of the letter in the name of the secretary in which I am accused of corruption i.e. using power for my enrichment and my circle for which you have not brought and will never be able to bring any evidence and fact only for the simple reason that they do not exist.
The only concrete thing that is mentioned in that letter about corruption is the British citizen Damir Fazlic, my former electoral keshiller on the BGR team in the 2005 elections, which according to the letter, I enriched and defended when there came up with discriminatory evidence against him.

In fact, 14 years ago, the Albanian prosecution investigated the supremo in words for a long time, concluding that it had not been able to prove any of the offences alleged for it. Let me stress that the whole story relates to the conduct of Fazlic's private capital for direct investment, not about tenders or public contracts. Moreover, in the nine years since my departure from government, if there had been any violations, the prosecution had the opportunity to investigate again, but never anything like this was done for the simple fact that the first investigation, although full and deepened, found nothing illegal.
So, I want to ask you, is mr. Fazlic, and if not, how can British jurisprudence and exemplary stateism transfer the burden of a fault of peace from a subject of Her Majestic, to a subject of sovereign jurisdiction like that of Kumanovo?
If Fazlic is free of the burden of guilt in your country, how can the fault of cooperating with him be used in another legal and institutional domain?!
Absurd, to say the least!

If Your Transgression has discriminatory evidence for your citizen, the law forces you to send that money to Albanian or English righteousness and not to draw public slander without making any arguments.
I find it tendentious and absurd to use for charges against me the name of a British citizen who has never been denominated in my country, and to my knowledge, not in your country, and who has never gained a cent from my government, and for the most part, after my departure from power has been made important investments in Kumanovo.
In this case, you note that using to accuse me of corruption of the name of a British citizen who has never been denominated in my country and to my knowledge, nor in your country, is an insult to every Albanian, every British, every European, every American and every citizen of the world who believes in the presumption of innocence, Principle this sanctioned since the Magna Charter, and after it, in all other international documents for human rights but which you deny to a citizen of your country with the intention of defaming another person.
This means a good scanada and a good corrupt act that aims to last the days of Europe's most corrupt and incriminated government. In this case, I want to assure you and the government of Saj's Magnifying for whom I keep true respect, that with all my modest abilities, you will not fight to convince the albanians that corruption, organised crime and the sale of votes are the enemies of their freedom, democracy, dignity and future.

Your transgression, I am not stopping to comment on your political charge of my links to crime without bringing any facts as this is why your silence on the blackest narco-government records that are bringing down Kumanovo more and faster than a war speaks much longer and deeper. But, I suggest that you are the first official in the world to say such a thing and that such accusations have never been articulated by my opponents, the links of those to organised crime I have denounced and continue to denounce every day.
I close this letter with my prayer and request for your transgression, Ambassador King-Smith and the GOVERNMENT of the UK, that any proof, fact or document you have or that you can provide from anyone in the world, you submit to albanian or British courts.
Considerately,
Sali Berisha
