Berisha speaks as chairman of the Democratic Party: It is over! Never say never

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha spoke after the announcement of the election results that returned him to the helm of the DP.
Berisha stated that today's election process in the DP "will be registered as the real miracle of the XXI century".
Berisha said that this extraordinary trust of the Democrats is a great obligation for him.
“It's done! It was not the election of Sali Berisha that took place, but the real miracle of Albania in the XXI century. I am humbled and very grateful to all those who in a short time triumphed as free people, in a process that will be recorded as the true miracle of the 21st century. 31 years ago, a great friend of our nation, on his historic visit, Jim Baker, told Albanians that they would be free to choose their own leaders. "The members of the Democratic Party, free people of this country, made history in a wonderful process, so the gratitude goes to all of them", said Berisha in his victory speech.
"Gratitude to all the members who today left all their obligations and voted to elect the chairman of the Democratic Party. This extraordinary trust of theirs is a great obligation to me, but I am convinced that together we will succeed. "We are on a mission to save Albania from a regime that never deserves it," Berisha added.
"My gratitude goes to the Albanian youth. We have to accept it. They were the main promoters of this movement. My oath before them and all Albanians will do everything to make their most beautiful dreams come true in this country.
He who realizes his dreams, is infinitely obliged to do everything for the realization of dreams.
