The head of DP, Sali Berisha, participated in the ceremony of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the PD branch in Kavaja. 

In his speech, Berisha said that the country is facing a regime similar to the one in 1990, which does not accept the vote.

According to Berisha, the mission of the democrats is to work to restore the free vote to Albanians.

Berisha: Today we are in many aspects in a very complicated situation. Today we are facing a regime that, just like the one we overthrew in 1990, does not accept the vote, does not want the Albanians to decide with a free vote. Today we have a government which has transformed the entire state machinery, for buying, grinding, crushing, destroying the vote, violating every law, every principle of a free society.

Today in front of us is a government that has brought back the system of patron-Nazis just like it used to be, the system of patron-Nazis of the inhuman democratic front. Shared cells with state security that terrorized citizens before they voted. Today we have a government that buys hundreds, thousands of votes with gangs, crime and drug money. But today we are more determined than ever for this battle.

Our revolution, after the restoration of freedom within the DP, the free vote within the DP, will restore the free vote to the Albanians and there is no force in the world that can prevent us.

Democrats and democrats, this is our mission. We are and will remain people of freedom. We are and will remain freedom fighters. We will move forward with the motto, we give our lives, we don't give our votes. No one will be able to play with the Albanian vote anymore.

Why are Albanians fleeing, why are they abandoning Albania, Kavaja? Because killing the vote kills hope. Because I don't believe in freedom. That there is no vote, no justice, no freedom, no respect, no dignity, perspective and future. That is why we elected our first citizens with a free vote.

Imagine how they are who come out of the cave that Edi Rama appoints with his political bureau on the basis of bribery, the dictates of crime, the basis of the money they pay, the money they collect from drugs and crime. Dolls of misery.

We did this, we will do the next step. We will make Albanians vote freely. Therefore, let's use this anniversary for a solemn oath that we will give the place it deserves to whoever dares to play with the Albanian vote.
