Klomentina Drini, the DP candidate for the Municipality of Vau e Dejes, said in ABC that Gazmend Bardhi has come to Vau e Dejes to support Zef Hila by order of Berisha, for his personal interests, where as a reward he is receiving the protection of his wife.

"I don't know what the moral or economic cost is to Mr. Hila. He did honor to Sali Berisha who came to Vaun e Dejes, Sali Berisha thinks that by coming Gazmend Bardhi to Vaun e Dejes he would decide the victory, but he can't decide it because the people in Vaun e Dejes are tired of his candidate. They are not directly men who say they support Sali Berisha because they are afraid of the international factor, to be honest."

Drini said that personally he is not afraid of pressures, but in this campaign the pulpit has reached the point where he is threatening the electorate, telling them that their lives will be darkened as soon as they come to power.

"And it's not Sali Berisha that scares me, nor Sali Berisha with the 40 thieves he has behind him. I have no turning back, whatever the pressure, even if family members hurt me. Both candidates know that I eat the pressure, regardless of what the intrigues behind their backs can do. Rather, it is the pressure they are putting on the electorate, who are telling them that when we come to power, the scene will be without sunlight here".

Drini also said that until May 17, when the winner of Vau i Dejes emerges, it is a hot area.

"We are facing the fact that other, more serious things can happen. It is warning that anything can happen. Every day until May 17 when the winner is announced. We are an area that they fight for the seat as if they are fighting for their lives because without power they do not live."

She also focused on the three points of her program, which include transparency, women's empowerment and economic development.
