The head of the parliamentary group of the SP Taulant Balla declared today that there will be a new report for January 21.
Balla said that the file on the murder of Aleks Nika should have gone to SPAK on time.
According to him, SPAK should immediately withdraw the file from the Tirana prosecutor's office, which should declare incompetence, since the killing orders were given by the highest government officials that day.
"On April 22, 2011, they were presented by the SP to the prosecutor's office in Tirana, where I sent other evidence for the killing of the protesters. Regarding this report, we have never received an answer to give explanations as the accusing party or the injured party. The criminal record from 3 out of 4 murders and court decisions is a greater shame. Even though it was proved that the Beretta of the Republic Guard shot the murder of Faik Myrtaj, the court declared it without a perpetrator. Aleks Nika is another criminal file without a murderer, without a perpetrator. We, being a governing force, have tried to preserve the separation of powers. We have always been on the side of justice with the belief that it belongs to it.
On January 20, 2021, the police asked the Tirana prosecutor's office for an order to carry out other examinations for the murder of the martyrs Aleks Nika and Hekuran Deda, but also for the wounding of the journalist Fatos Mahmutaj. In May 2011, the prosecution opened investigations into the above events. In January 2022, I asked the leaders of SPAK to withdraw this file from the Tirana prosecutor's office.
We requested the declaration of incompetence of the Tirana prosecutor's office for Aleks Nika's file and the transfer of this file to the Special Prosecutor's Office. Meanwhile, another new material evidence has been published recently. Guard Commander Ndrea Prendi ordered the murders, choosing the killers himself. It even seems clear that he is the orderer. Berisha could not hide the crime.
This issue should have gone to SPAK in time. As of July 27, there is actually a procedural request from the injured party that requests the transfer of the file to the Special Prosecutor's Office. End the impunity of those involved in the January 21 orders. SP experts have started work on drafting another criminal report to the Special Prosecutor's Office", said Balla.
