The head of the National Council of the DP, Edi Paloka, has stated that the Russian funding has nothing to do with the exceptions or measures that will be taken for the MPs of this political force.

He gave this statement in an interview for Euronews Albania, when he was asked if Lulzim Basha will be expelled from PD, if it is proven that there was Russian funding in this party.

"This has nothing to do with exceptions or measures that can be taken. If it is proven that there is a violation of the law and this is not proven only by the DP audit, then this issue goes beyond the DP. Therefore, it is not a question of administrative measures within the DP" - Paloka emphasized.
