The US Ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, today held a meeting with the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj. 

After the end of the meeting, the Presidency announced through a press release that the two sides expressed their appreciation for the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as discussed important issues related to vital areas of bilateral cooperation, such as: energy , security, justice reform, current global challenges, etc.

The President of the Republic of Albania, Sh. TZ Bajram Begaj received today in a working meeting the Ambassador of the United States of America in Albania, Sh. S. Mrs. Yuri Kim.

During the meeting, the two sides expressed appreciation for the strategic partnership between our two countries, as well as discussed important issues related to vital areas of bilateral cooperation, such as: energy, security, justice reform, current global challenges, etc.

Also, within the framework of Albania's mandate, as a non-permanent member of the Security Council, there was a discussion about the excellent cooperation between the two countries so far.

The two sides expressed their willingness to continue close cooperation and coordinate positions in the future on matters of common interest.
