He is known for his role as Edi Rama in "Portokalli", but actor Florjan Binaj is one of the public figures who does not spare his criticism of the government.

Invited to an interview on "A Show", the actor stated that he often received comments and even criticism for the inclusion of politics in his roles in comedy shows. In response to them, Binaj said that the government is robbing Albanians with salty bills and does not provide services.

"There's always a group of people who say, 'What do you have to do with politics, do with humor.' And I have always not hesitated to reply to you: "If the government steals from me with bills, steals from me with this and that, it does not serve me, why not deal with the government". Because if I keep quiet, I'll admit it. You have heard the expression of the governors that "we will support", those who stand behind them. I have decided to stand in front of the government and tell him to his face, because he who says it to his face loves you. Because I love this country" , said Binaj.

During the interview, the actor also stated that Albanians are leaving the country en masse, not for a better life, but for a normal life. Binaj also told the cases of his friends who have left Albania, stressing that what they earn here has no value.

"Unfortunately, we live in a country where those who have lived abroad do not find themselves coming back here. Those who are here do not find themselves here again. So both parties leave. Those who live here have it very hard, they are like those in the circus who have 100 plates they have to keep them all spinning. The public, which in this case is politics, waits for one plate to fall, another to fall, so that they are caught off guard ," said Florjan Binaj.

But has he ever thought of leaving Albania himself?

"Who said no?" I thought about it several times, I had an opportunity in 2004, I won the right to study at an Italian University, I took the language exam and passed it. But at that time I had started in "Portokalli" and I did some calculations and decided to stay. We all have friends and colleagues who are leaving every year, I have 3-4 friends who leave, and it's not that they are in bad jobs and earn little. But it's that… what they earn here has no value back, what they teach the kids is not the same rule that works outside. Mostly they run for the children. It's not that they earn more, but they feel appreciated. The money that is taken from him does not sleep late because the service is not returned ", said the actor.

In a short analysis he made of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Florjan Binaj drew a parallel with "Edi Rama of Orange". So he said that when Rama was in the opposition, the public applauded, but after he became prime minister, the public couldn't wait for someone to make a joke "to screw him up."

"I note the scientific discovery that the eye sees what the mind wants. And his eye sees what his mind wants but which is not necessarily what we all see feel and touch. The eye only sees, does not touch, does not smell, does not taste. I can say that the whole government, that's why the Albanian government lasts no more than 8 years because everyone loses their sense of reality. If you see the videos where I played Prime Minister Rama before he won the elections, people applauded and stood up because they all hoped that he would save us. It came and what I noticed was that when I came out people couldn't wait for someone to make a joke to put me down" , said Binaj in his analysis.

Connecting his new investigative show with "Piranhas" in our country, the actor said: " This country has a lot of good and bad piranhas. As there are good and bad people. We have the good piranhas who want to reveal the fat that the bad piranhas have put at the expense of honest people".
