SCANDAL EXPOSED/ SPAK reveals that two villas in Palasa do not belong to Bella

TIRANA/HIMARA – The latest announcement by the Special Prosecutor's Office against Animal Cruelty and Vagabondage, SPAK, should serve as a lesson to irresponsible media and reporters, as well as to flighty analysts, to think carefully before tarnishing the names of the public and political life of the country, blaming them for all the unpleasant events that occur in Albania.

After this introduction, let's get back to the news: The Special Prosecutor's Office has stated that after a careful verification and field observations, it has been determined that two of the 157 villas on the coast of Palasa, Himara, definitively and beyond any doubt, do not belong to the former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure, Energy, Transport, Airplanes, Airports and Electricity-producing Steamers, Bella Ballukja.

“There is no possibility that those two villas belong to her,” the press release explained, “because in addition to checking the ownership documentation, bank payments, the identity of the people involved, etc., we have been observing for a year who uses those apartments, who comes in and out, what purchases they make, how long they stay, etc. Although we were surprised, we were forced to conclude that two of the 157 villas in Palasa do not belong to Mrs. Ballukja and are not connected to her in any way. They belong to two journalists from the magazine Bota e Re, who bear their names on the envelope, while in the magazine they only put a blatant lie.”

The least that can be said is that the news in question re-dimensions the so-called 'Ballukja scandal', which in fact has been presented as an unstoppable chain of scandals of the most diverse kinds: Theft with tunnel tenders, assignment of road segments for construction with clientelism, tentacles in energy, the interior ministry, the police, etc. Doubts have even been raised that a villa in Surrel, Tirana, is actually her property, despite being temporarily inhabited by a bohemian artist who sells horses with Mexican boots and toads in plaster, and signs his works with the artistic name, Palloshi.

According to political commentator Zhuljan Këllira, the revelation in question shows how easily Albanians rush to throw mud at figures in politics and public life, making accusations without facts and ruining careers built with hard work.

"What didn't they say about the lady in question. No, she's a witch, no, she didn't leave a villa on the coast unbuilt, from Velipoja to Ksamil. What are you going to say now? You're going to apologize, but how much money does she make? Will the hurt heart, the sleepless nights, the stress return? I call on the Prosecutor's Office to dismiss all cases against her, " commented Këllira.

Meanwhile, the injured woman herself did not comment at length on this announcement that put in place the dignity and personality of an exemplary servant of the people. She sufficed with one sentence before taking the plane to go to the office: "The truth is delayed, but it does not forget."

On the other hand, the Special Prosecutor's Office clarified that the other 155 villas in Palasa are not exactly Bella Balluka's. She may have visited them at times, but the owners of many of them with documents turned out to be 12 former football players and sports managers, tennis talents, opera singers, the entire Bënça polyphonic group, the national table tennis team, etc.

So far, the Prosecutor's Office has not seen fit to question Bella about this matter, but in recent days buses with artists and athletes have been seen stopping in front of SPAK and being questioned.

Note: Patronažisti is a satirical column in favor of villas so that poor people have somewhere to put their heads.
