Another serious episode of police violence was recorded this Monday in Tirana, during the seventh day of massive student and youth protests against the government.

The incident occurred in the Rinia Park area, where an operational force officer was filmed exerting physical violence against a young man, who was not displaying aggressive behavior.

In the footage recorded by witnesses, the young man is heard repeatedly telling the officer: "I'm not doing anything!", while trying to defend himself from the blows.

However, his calls did not stop the police officer, who continued to hit him, despite the young man not responding with violence.

The scene has caused reactions and indignation among the citizens present, who witnessed the violent intervention.

This episode adds to other cases reported during the protests of recent days, where police officers have been filmed using force against students and young people.

The footage raises serious questions about the proportionality of the force used by the police, especially in cases where the persons being intervened against do not show resistance or violent behavior.
