Mundësia Party MP Erald Kapri attacked the majority in today's parliamentary session regarding its stance towards former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
Kapri accused the majority of using double standards, linking his statement to allegations of blackmail against a public servant, made public yesterday on the show "Fiks Fare" on Top Channel.
He also brought to attention Taulant Balla's stance on the protection of women and artists, contrasting it with the case of Ms. Kashnica.
" There is no session more shameful and hypocritical than this. Imagine the people at home watching this Parliament, what they must think when they have a problem with the state, with the government. Should they expect a solution from here in this hall?
Let's start with the pink ribbon that all MPs will have to place here today in respect and support of all women and ladies suffering from cancer.
Now imagine a lady suffering from cancer and seeing MPs speaking in Parliament with pink ribbons here and having to go to the oncologist. Is there a greater mockery than that?
But if a citizen has problems with his own property, who should he take out a mortgage with? Ergys Agasin?
What if another citizen has problems with the Municipality of Tirana, should he wait for those free hours in prison to sign Erion Veliaj's letter? Should he wait for the message with the avatar on social networks?
Is there any greater hypocrisy than Taulant Balla coming out here and saying that everyone who has been charged only has a personal lawyer?
But why? Does Belinda Balluku have a personal lawyer? It is this majority that has protected her with immunity.
And Taulant Balla comes out and says that socialist women should take a stand for female artists whose right to privacy has been violated, rightly so.
But Taulant Balla cannot tell the socialist ladies to take a stand for Mrs. Kashnica, the public servant, mother of two children, who was blackmailed by Belinda Balluku, as was broadcast yesterday on Top Channel.
Her story is even more serious because her husband was forced to kill himself due to pressure. Is there any greater hypocrisy than this session today? And they tell people that we will make a reform for the citizens?
What reform for citizens? The reform that was approved in 2015 and displaced 1 million others? This reform is hostage-taking! 90% of municipalities in Albania are only for hiring people and militants.
In small municipalities, there are hundreds of thousands of public employees from the municipalities that are being taken hostage. They hire them and tell them you have a living wage, don't dare oppose them. This is not about services here.
"So every citizen watching this session demands the withdrawal of this shameful reform from the agenda, but you must understand one thing: you have earned the hatred of Albanians and you will not evade responsibility like Edi Rama is doing now with the international media ," said Kapri.
