Taulant Balla, Arber Berexha

The leader of the Socialist Party (SP) group, Taulant Balla, during a statement to journalists after the Parliament meeting, spoke about the protests being held in the capital and the violence exercised by the State Police against the protesters.

He targeted Tirana prosecutor Arbër Berexha, who released protesters the day before. According to Balla, this prosecutor is known for his political ties to the Democratic Party.

He also drew the attention of the head of the ILD, Artur Metani, to this case.

"A Tirana prosecutor who is known for political ties to members of the Democratic Party, who with a drop of his pen dismisses the case. I don't know if the High Inspector of Justice is in office or I hope he is in office," said Balla.

We recall that a day ago, prosecutor Arbër Berexha ordered the release of the protesters, saying that the arrests are illegal.
