Adea Pirdeni

Adea Pirdeni will be Minister of Public Administration, now with portfolio, after President Bajram Begaj signed two decrees dismissing her from her previous position and appointing her to the new position.

With decree no. 521, dated October 19, 2026, Begaj dismissed Pirdeni from the position of Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption.

Meanwhile, with Decree No. 522, of the same date, the President appointed her Minister of Public Administration.

The difference is that Pirdeni will no longer be a Minister of State, but a Minister with Portfolio. Both decrees were issued upon the proposal of the Prime Minister and are expected to enter into force immediately.

The decrees have been sent to the Parliament and the Council of Ministers.
