EC President Ursula von der Leyen, present at the Summit organized in Athens, met with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

Von der Leyen, while sharing videos of the moments of the meeting with the leaders on social networks, revealed that the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue was also discussed.

The President of the EC asked Vucic and Kurti to work to normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

"I discussed with Prime Minister Kurti, the need to de-escalate the tensions in the north of Kosovo, to re-engage in the dialogue facilitated by the EU and to implement the agreements for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. It is vital to break down the barriers in the region and the Western Balkans closer to the EU", writes Von der Leyen on Twitter.
