A powerful explosion was recorded in Las Vegas in front of the famous Trump Hotel.
According to us media, a model "Cybertruck" of Tesla, Elon Musk's company, was parked in front of the hotel door and exploded shortly afterwards.
The driver was reported to have died, while about seven others were injured in the blast.
Investigators don't know what caused the explosion, such as if something was wrong with the electric vehicle or whether something external caused it. Determining the cause of the explosion is the primary objective of the investigation.
The hotel is subject to frequent threats and added security given its connection to President-elect Donald Trump.

Doesn't look like a simple battery explosion. Why do I see fireworks? pic.twitter.com/squAcWlgpe
Eric Trump, his son, has posted on social media about the incident.
"Earlier today, a reported electric vehicle fire at the door of trump's Las Vegas hotel. The safety and well-being of our guests and staff remain our top priority. "We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement for their swift response and professionalism," he wrote.
The hotel also released a statement on X suggesting the car involved was electric.
"Earlier today, a reported electric vehicle fire occurred at the entrance to trump's hotel in Las Vegas. The safety and well-being of our guests and staff remain our top priority. We express our gratitude to the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement for their swift response," the hotel tweeted.
If you were going to choose a metaphor for our current state of politics, a Tesla Cybertruck exploding and burning in front of a Trump Tower in a city where millions of Americans go each year to lose their money, is pretty spot on.
