The citizens of Thessaloniki are sad after the death of a 16-year-old girl. The girl was on vacation with her friends in Halkidiki when the tragedy happened. She died in the early hours of Wednesday in Halkidiki, when she consumed a hot dog and allegedly suffered an allergic attack.

According to her mother, the young woman had gone out to have fun with her friends on Tuesday night, while on Wednesday morning they sat down to eat at a fast food bar.

"My daughter ate a hot dog. She was allergic to milk and has always been careful when eating out. I don't know what happened, whether or not there was milk in what she consumed, but she collapsed as soon as she ate it," the 16-year-old's mother told the Greek media.

One of her friends who was with her immediately ran to the room where they were staying to bring the medicine to the 16-year-old, while at the same time they called the EKAB ambulance to go to the scene, but, as she complains mother of the minor, the ambulance was delayed for 45 minutes

"From the first evidence, it appears that my daughter suffered an allergic attack and passed away. He was the best child and died only 16 without help. At the Health Center, they tried twice to bring her back to life, but they didn't succeed," said her mother while adding:

"My daughter was an angel and she is lost. I don't know why the ambulance was delayed. 5 at dawn there was no traffic to delay".

According to the Greek media, the 16-year-old girl was receiving medication in recent years after suffering from epileptic seizures.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of her death, while the unfortunate girl's burial will take place in Oreokastro.
