The baby's father tearfully told how the hospital's gross negligence has shocked his family. Regarding this event, the chief prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Peja, Agim Kurmehaj, told the Telegraph that the investigations have started.

On the other hand, the spokesperson of this Prosecutor's Office, Shkodran Nikçi, announced that the prosecutor of the case had a consultative meeting with the baby's parents yesterday (Wednesday).

Even the former Minister of Health, Armend Zemaj, has written that governing incompetence remains a key word of the current government's leadership.

"30 months of failures and injustices towards citizens, patients and health professionals. Scandals become super scandals, but the most paradoxical is when the government and early moralizers are silent in front of all this, what is happening in the health sector. Shameful!", wrote Zemaj.

What is foreseen according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo for damage to the corpse? Based on Article 421, point 2, the person who damaged the corpse is punished with a fine or imprisonment for up to three years.

"Anyone who, without authorization, removes, damages, destroys or hides the corpse, a part of it or the ashes of the deceased, is punished with a fine or imprisonment of up to three (3) years", point 2 of article 421 is quoted./TELEGRAPHI
