Other crimes are added to the indictment against Thaçi, Veseli, Krasniqi

The four senior leaders of the KLA; Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi are expected to be aggravated with new charges by the Special Court in The Hague. The indictment against them is expected to add to the allegations of crimes committed in the villages of Semetishte and Budakovo in Suhareka and in the dormitory in Gjilan.

According to the official website of the Kosovo Specialized Chambers, the annexes to the indictment were submitted by the Specialized Prosecution Office headed by Jack Smith. This, after the pre-trial judge, on December 23, 2021 approved the request for new charges, while it was also confirmed by the Court of Appeals, after the defense appeal.

The court will now need additional time to review the materials provided along with the amendments to the indictment, large parts of which have been edited for the public.

For these new annexes to the indictment, the Specialized Chambers have scheduled four hearings where the accused will plead guilty, informs Klankosova.
