At least one person has reportedly died and 12 others have been injured after a bridge collapsed in Patras, Greece.

Six ambulances have arrived at the scene, while the injured are being transported to Agios Andreas hospitals and Rio hospital. Witnesses at the scene expressed concern that the number of victims could rise.

The footage from the scene is too heavy because the families of the people who took the bridge under the bridge have desperately started searching for the rubble for their relatives.

The bridge was built in 2021 and cost €6 million. But according to Greek media, the bridge had static problems.
A member of the Roma community who was at the scene said he saw at least three people trapped under the rubble.
